In accordance with Article 9f of the Railway Act (EBG), the TVS is responsible for collecting the track access charge (basic and additional services) from network users (railway undertakings (RU) and for passing it on to the infrastructure managers (IM). To do this, it bases its decision on the billing details of the IMs.
The TVS randomly checks that the trains operated have been correctly and completely recorded and billed.
TVS is the contact for infrastructure operators that have any questions or doubts regarding the calculation of train route charges.
